Isomac

Isomac is an Italian company founded in 1977 by an Ex-production chief of the famous coffee equipment brand Faema. Isomac has always specialized in high-quality espresso machines, built with commercial-quality components. Production, assembly and testing of each Isomac unit is undertaken by skilled, dedicated craftsmen in their Italian manufacturing facility.

A great example of Isomac’s engineering and build quality is seen in Isomac’s popular Zaffiro and Tea lines. This compact espresso and cappuccino machine has a built-in on-demand coffee grinder with selectable grind size, a stainless steel body and a double function tap for hot water or steam. Other notable features of the Isomac Zaffiro include an original Isomac designed semi-automatic brewing head, stainless steel vertical boiler (one of the largest in its class), tunable thermostat, double function steam or hot water stainless steel jet with cool-touch anti-burn system, 300 gram coffee hopper, large professional E61 group head made from solid brass with a chrome plating and built-in knock-box.

The Zaffiro’s vertical single boiler serves two functions; it supplies hot brewing water for making espresso and it also produces steam for frothing milk. The thoughtful design of the Zaffiro makes it easy to switch the boiler between modes with a controller on the front panel. The boiler is quite large for a machine this size and it allows the Zaffiro to keep water at a constant temperature and to brew several consecutive shots.

The Isomac Tea is another high-end home espresso machine built with professional/commercial grade components. It features both a boiler pressure-gauge and a brew pressure gauge. These units have powerful boilers and are capable of brewing espresso and frothing milk simultaneously.
