Conti

Conti was founded in the 1950s in Paris but soon after relocated to Monaco. Back then Conti introduced its first coffee machines. The Stella with a manual piston lever and the Dynamic, the company's first hydraulic machine. Since its inception, Conti's management has placed a premium on customer after-sales-service as well as international development. By 2010 Conti was selling some 70% of its machines internationally. Today the company has grown in reputation and capacity, producing a full range of coffee equipment. Conti makes coffee machines for commercial concerns of different sizes, from large operations to small cafes. The company also produces traditional machines like the Monte Carlo standard, fully automatic bean-to-cup machines like the TT388, grinders like the CG 200, barista tools including tampers and portafilters and pods and capsule coffee machines.

Common features among some Conti machines include the option of two or three groups, internal pumps with easily accessible external adjustments, independent coffee boilers with separate temperature controls, cool-touch steam wands with non-stick coatings, barista lights and a slow pre-infusion system that can be temperature-set for each individual group.

Conti’s grinders are either on demand or automatic. Conti’s On-demand system delivers ground coffee only as-needed, keeping the remainder of the coffee fresh. The grinder is equipped with two independent hoppers which allow precise adjustment for different sized filters. In comparison, Conti’s automatic grinder automatically refills its dosing chamber every six shots. This means you only need to refill the machine’s hopper with coffee beans.
