Compak, the well-known coffee grinder company was founded back in 1952 by Mr. Jesus Ascaso. Mr. Ascaso was committed to exposing the world to the unique technique and taste of Spanish espresso. With a keen eye for detail, Mr. Ascaso decided that the best starting point was the ground coffee, hence Compak's famous marketing Tag-line, " Compak…if you grind coffee."

Since 1952 Compak has developed a tradition of innovation and collaboration with renowned industrial designers. This has resulted in the creation of technologically advanced, yet user-friendly coffee grinder units where the technology that is incorporated into each Compak grinder belies the complexity of the machine and the grinding process. For example, all of Compak’s grinders feature stepless grind geometry and include the company’s Dynamometric System. This system allows the automatic grinder to precisely regulate bean flow-control using an auger and measured dosing. The company has grown since 1952 and expanded its original line of coffee grinders to now include a gourmet coffee line, a professional-grade barista line and a series of grinders for use in commercial and retail applications.
